Yes to DVD release. Probably August. Season one came out Aug 7, 2012. You can also catch episodes on NBC.com.

Yep, last eps of season 2. May 7, 14, 21st.

Grimm had 6 million viewers and a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49 last night, which was enough to win 10 p.m. Best ratings for the show in months, too.

Okay, she HAS her memories, but let's make sure we put off the reunion for some dumb reason. :)

NBC released the Fall schedule. Grimm will be back to Fridays at 9pm.
We've been watching it when we feel like it, using Video on Demand. (Well, there's a delay of a couple of days.) More and more, the networks' schedule means nothing to modern viewers, who watch on their own schedule; which, I'd say, is how it should be.

In Grimm's case, quite a bit of the fandom was screaming "Put it back on Friday night!!!" anywhere they could since it went to Tuesday. In pretty embarrassing fashion with a lot of whining. But.....the show actually does good number for NBC on Fridays, so there it'll live. It's been the anti-death-slot show.

Yeah. I didn't even notice it had moved. Since I got a TiVo about ten years ago, I haven't cared about when my shows air.

I think it's a mistake to have Juliette running around with Nick investigating his cases. Am I wrong?

BAY, I kept thinking, "WTF?" Let's just toss her into the deep end when a massive amount of freakin' zombies are running around. YEAH!

They go from, "OMG Juliet! You got a cat scratch! You are so fragile!" to "Yeah, come along! You're a veterinarian!"

She's essentially going from being the "one who can't know about the Grimm thing," to the damsel in distress.

Just needed to comment on the final seconds of the Grimm season finale:

"To be continued -- oh come on, you knew this was coming."

Somebody behind the scenes at that show is having a wonderful time.

Died laughing when that came up. Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt, the show runners, wrote the episode, so the card didn't surprise me at all.

Nick wasn't pleased about the idea (all over his face), but he didn't want to flat-out tell her no since they've just gotten back together. Rosalie was being her usual nice peacemaker self and Monroe will defer to Nick publicly. I don't think this will be a habit, not without giving Juliette some training.

Notice in the scene the body language and tone of voice is awkward. They're all trying to not treat Juliette like a child.

Boyfriend-Nick was between a rock and a hard place on it, though. How do you not get newly-reunited girlfriend mad at you? Telling her to stay behind or go home while Rosalie goes doesn't look fair - they're both women of about the same size.

Now Juliette has seen how dangerous Grimm life can be, she'll either be scared straight into staying home, or she'll study to be a contributing part of the group. Nick's going to need help getting home from, so everybody's going to have to be part of the rescue.

I laughed and cursed at the screen when I saw that. They're just a bunch of trolls. :D

Well, she's been shown to be a naturally good shot with a handgun, and she's kept her head in dangerous situations, so I'd say it's believable for her to become an active member of Team Grimm, not just a damsel in distress.

The complicating factor is Nick being a Portland cop; but that's always been the case. Sometimes what a police detective should do is at odds with a Grimm's perceived license to kill any Wesen that looks at him the wrong way. (At least, it seems like his predecessors whose journals he reads, never met a Wesen they didn't want to decapitate.)

They did that before the Winter break, too. Back then, it was just "to be continued ... sorry!" So it's really building up from that.

As for bringing Juliette along, I'm okay with that. Zomkbie outbreak aside, being with the people who know how to fight the threat is the safest thing you can do. I'm just disappointed the veterinarian didn't think of bringing a tranq gun.

Juliette being a veterinarian is a total throw-away. It's only mentioned in passing, she doesn't show any inclination toward that at all. Never mentions her work. She doesn't even have her own pets! Not a cat, dog, bird or even fish in her house. Or even pictures of them.

She seems more like a receptionist for a salon or a salesclerk for one of the boutique clothing stores downtown.

I hear their cast party for the series end was really great. Wish I'd happened up on it ... accidentally, of course. ;) One of my friends was an extra in the show a couple of weeks ago, she teaches at the community college where they shoot the "ER" scenes. The "hospital" is her building, the "morgue" is her lab.

I finally just saw the season finale.
So two things... Juliette running around with him while he's doing Grimm stuff is idiocy. That's like him bringing her around while he's doing police work. "Hey honey, we're goign to go arrest this dangerous murder right now. Why don't you come with us?"
Second is the cliffhanger! AH OMG that is the worst kind of cliffhanger! btw... what happened to his heightened scenes he got while he was blind? After he got his eyesight back he was able to hit fruit out of the air while blindfolded but now he suddenly can't hear some guy walking up to him in an enclosed shipping container.

Also, he had his eyes open.

There's another reason why I'm okay with Juliette tagging along, despite that it's not very professional of Nick: It's high time they gave her an actual role to play. In Season One her role mostly consisted of being absolutely vlueless about everything, to the point of idiocy. In Season Two, most all she did was recover from her amnesia and get back to the point she was at a season ago. Personally, I couldn't stand another season of keeping her out of the loop.

They never said his hyper-hearing would last....
True but why would they go through the trouble of having that whole fruit scene at the end of the episode if it wasn't going to last.

As for his eyes being open, he was in the dark with just a tiny little flashlight.

Yeah, but in that dimness he was busy looking at stuff.

I ahgree that with all the fuzz they made about his hearing, it sure looked as if they set it up for more. In fact, I did wonder about that myself at some point during the last couple of episodes, I forget when.
