Hmm... I was hoping to finish the first draft of RFA by June, but a break to read might help. I am behind on my Goodreads challenge.

Totally awesome, Dorothy!

We've been burning through INFERNO (no pun intended) at work, and yesterday as I was restocking I was reflecting on the unmitigated fun of breaking into a carton of a single title. Even when it's some big author who is going to sell by the bucketloads no matter what, there's something amazingly powerful about holding a giant stack of gorgeous, brand-new copies of the same title.

Can't even fathom how awesome that must be magnified by having the title be *your* book. :D

Cheering you all on!
Very cool, Dorothy!

And I think you did the right thing with your daughter (and you too, Kansas, with the boyfriend. At least you tried to give him a chance)

YAY DOROTHY!!!!!! Wow. That has to be such a high. And don't lie, you know what of the first things you're going to do is smell those suckers. Mmm...love the smell of a brand new book. And if it was my own? Shoooooot. I'd be snortin' those mofos :D

Hello Lisalulu09:)

My characters keep glancing at things. How do I stop them?

I'm editing my third draft at the moment and listing all the words I overuse. They laugh rather a lot (God knows why given how grim their situation is) and frown and shrug slightly too much. They don't stare or gaze much, thank goodness. But all the glancing.... it's a bit of a problem....

So. I contacted the publishers I sent SC to, and I was told I needed to contact another member of the team by the original person. The reply was very nice, though.
