Supernatural is moving back to where it all began: Tuesdays at 9pm. Despite airing on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday over the past eight seasons, Supernatural originally debuted Tuesdays at 9pm on the WB back in 2005, so think of this as a homecoming.

Question: were angels turned into human or just "tossed down" for whatever reason? I figure since Metatron told Castiel to go have a family and have kids that he was made human.

Because Metatron took Castiel's grace (the same way anna's was?), I presume that he's human now and that Metatron did the same to all the angels. Since a lot of them fell all at once, I guess Metatron has helpers.

While I'm positive that Cas is human, I'm not convinced that the other angels are. I think they were simply banished from Heaven -- like Lucifer had been -- but without being cast into Hell. So picture thousands of Castiels stuck on Earth, without a purpose and tons of power, and now without faith.

I'm guessing the boys will want to figure out how to get the angels locked into Hell, which they conveniently didn't close, considering that Heaven is off limits.

Anna ripped out her grace and fell. She was reborn in a human body, but became an angel again after she recovered her grace.

I'm guessing Castiel is human now, unless or until he gets his grace back.

Once he gets his grace back, I wonder if that would be enough for Heaven to open again it's a spell, not the angel tablet (IIRC), so maybe without that ingredient, the spell becomes invalid.

Okay, gotcha. Man, it's been a long time. So, Cas and his brethren will be fallen angels and might be somewhat useless until they get their "grace" back. Or not? People have mentioned Lucifer before. I guess the mythology changes in this show from time to time, so worrying about it won't do much good.

Damn it if I didn't want them to win. Like really win. They haven't had a clean victory in a long time, if ever. I wanted Sam to cure Crowley and shut those gates, death or no death.

It was a good call to make Cas human. It's something they could have done a few seasons ago. Also, I want real repercussions for Sam not finishing the trials.

Wish list for next season: Sam gets his hair cut and back in with the makeup artist who doesn't unleash the plague on him every week.

I caught up on the show last year and only had a few weeks' wait between when I finished season 7 and the season 8 opener. I don't know what to do without all the Winchester feelings.

Cas is definitely essentially human right now. It's Cas' memories in Jimmy's body.

Pretty sure Jimmy's been gone for awhile though, so there shouldn't be any conflicts there. Cas just kept on looking like Jimmy because it was easier (and Mischa, obviously).

Something just occurred to me. Season 9 will take the show into 2014. If Cas is human, is he fated/doomed to become Hippie Cas? Or will Dean, who's seen the end result, keep him off that path?

Except for the orgies. Something tells me Dean would approve of the orgies.
