Third burrow on your left. Your other left.

"Irregardless" sets my teeth on edge, too.

Any time a noun such as "dialog" is turned into a verb, "We need to dialog about blah." or "Beth and Frank need to dialog about that." What happened to "talk" or "discuss"? Perfectly fine words, of honorable birth and noble mien.

Any other form of "market droid speak", actually--"action items", "leverage", "core competencies", etc. I imagine, "Next action item: we need to dialog about leveraging our core competencies" sounds better to some than, "Next, we need to talk about how to do our main jobs better".

I hate the word "moist" so much that I plan to wipe my memory clean of typing it just now.

I hate the word "bawling".

To me, "bawling" makes the act of crying sound like something negative or shameful. I prefer gentler words to describe an act that reveals our vulnerability such as "crying" or "weeping" or even "sobbing".

For me, it's the word "should". It has created more unhappiness, resentment, and guilt for people across the board than any other word I know of.
