Just popping in to say that I'm repped by Fran, and I ADORE these ladies. They're so quick to respond when I have a question or a need. I can't imagine any other agent being a better advocate than LC is for me.

You're well past the standard 3 month mark to nudge, particularly if they did not acknowledge receipt. I would ask them first if they received it.

I would absolutely nudge. Every interaction I've had with these ladies has been pleasant and helpful. She may at least tell you that it was received but they are behind on their reading.

I don't feel comfortable sharing all the personal details on this forum, but I will say that if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't have signed there. The benefits of this agency did not outweigh the detriments for me. I'll be happy to discuss further via private message. I don't login very often here, so please forgive me if it takes a while for a response.

Could someone correct me if I'm wrong, but are most of their deals (Swoon, Entangled, Henery Press, Kensington) with publishers that accept unagented submissions? I know there is still value in having an agent to handle the logistics, get you to the front of the line and negotiate better contract.
