Now up to fifteen in sixteen and a bit weeks. I'm back on schedule! (It does help that two of these were particularly short YA/MGs that I read in a day each.) These include the last of the BSFA Award shortlist, three from the Carnegie Medal shortlist and the third of the twelve volumes of A Dance to the Music of Time.

11. The Weight of Water by Sarah Crossan (MG/YA verse novel)
12. 2312 by Kim Stanley Robinson (novel)
13. In Darkness by Nick Lake (YA novel)
14. A Boy and a Bear in a Boat by Dave Shelton (MG novel)
15. The Acceptance World by Anthony Powell (novel)

Next up, three more Carnegies and the next Powell when it arrives from the library. And a delayed start to the 2013 Hilary Mantel project.

I'm failing epically.

6. Turn of the Screw by Henry James - Book for a class. Not a big fan.
7. Beta read
8. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare - Reread
9. Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare - Not sure how I feel about some things, but it's a great ending to the trilogy.
10. Beta read

Late to this party, but I'm going to take up this 100 books challenge to try and boost the amount I've been reading. So far, I have:

1.Royal Asassin 1, Robbin Hobb
2. Royal Assassin 2, Robin Hobb
3. Freedom by Jonathan Franzen
4. Leaves of Grass, Walt Whitman
5. Mrs Dalloway, Virginia Woolf
6. Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrel, Susanna Clarke
7. Game of Thrones, G.R. R Martin
8. Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
9. Incarnate by Jodi Meadows

and that is all I can currently remember reading :/ I'm aiming for 100 by the end of the year, which is a bit ambitious. We'll see how I go.

Next five, taking me to twenty in what will be nineteen weeks on Tuesday. One non-fiction review title, three more from the Carnegie Medal shortlist and a shortish novel by one of my favourite writers which I slipped in there.

16. The Making of Life of Pi: A Film A Journey by Jean-Christophe Castelli (non-fiction, for review)
17. Wonder by R.J. Palacio (MG novel)
18. Midwinterblood by Marcus Sedgwick (MG/YA novel)
19. Daddy Love by Joyce Carol Oates (novel, read on Kindle)
20. A Greyhound of a Girl by Roddy Doyle (MG novel)

One more Carnegie book to go - Code Name Verity which seems finally to be on its way to me from the library. And Anthony Powell, volume four of twelve.

As at the beginning of June I'm on 33 for the year so I'm still on course to hit 80 or so by December 31st. I've been mixing a lot between children's, YA and grown-up fiction as well because I can't seem to settle on a genre or market at the moment.

22. The Alchemist Of Souls by Anne Lyle.

23. Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare.

24. The Black Death In London by Barney Sloane.

25. The Crane Wife by Patrick Ness.

26. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green.

27. I’m Dougal Trump … Where’s My Tarantula? By Dougal Trump and Jackie Marchant.

28. Ready, Player One by Ernest Cline.

29. After Tomorrow by Gillian Cross.

30. Maggot Moon by Sally Gardner.

31. This Is Not Forgiveness by Celia Rees.

32. The Masque Of The Red Death by Bethany Griffin.

33. Rage Within by Jeyn Roberts.

All reviews are on http://quippe.livejournal.com/ if anyone's interested.

13. Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler - Really sweet book

15. Beta read

36. Spark by Amy Kathleen Ryan.

37. Ack-Ack Macaque by Gareth L. Powell.
