I had recently posted about a novella I've written, and here soon attempting to get published.
I've found only a scant amount of agents/publishers willing to take on a novella, and I'm wondering whether I should take my 4 part Novella, and turn it into a full-fledged novel.
I had decided on the Novella at first after an acquaintance had success self publishing her novella, of course success was 1000 copies I later discovered.
In addition to that I saw several sights saying many ereaders today are buying novellas for the cost and the casual reading (it was explained to me that the "casual reader" meant somebody who reads a little a day and to whom a full novel can be a daunting task).
So after all that I guess my question is, would it be worth it or should I put all my eggs, or sequels in this case, in one basket?
