Has anyone queried her or her agency or been represented by them? I know she wrote that book about writing. Just wondering if anyone knows what she is like as an agent? Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Hi Victoria,
Thanks, but I really was looking for info from people who may have experience with her.

Hi
I took an online course with her. She wants detail. Buy her book and read it. It is not a book about writing, it is a book about getting published. Two different animals..

I am familiar with her book. I was just wondering about her as an agent.
Joyce - Did you ever send something to her after the course? Did you enjoy the course? Also I am wondering who offers the course. I think it sounds interesting if it is still around. Thanks

I took the course online when B&N had courses. God I miss them, wish they would bring them back. I did not submit anything to her. She was very personable and it was one of the hardest courses I took. I was not prepared to write a book at the time. So a lot of the questions she asked me like..
Why are you the person to write this book? Threw me, she wanted specific details and a platform.. The course was on her book "Thinking Like Your Editor: How to Write Great Serious Nonfiction--and Get It Published."

The book I wanted to do was Women and Music from 1950 til now... I didn't really have any platform.. She wants magazine publications, etc..

Hope this has helped you.
