Hey there! I've been stuck on this genre issue for a book of mine for a while now. It's at the point where it's quickly closing in on completion, and I am really struggling to figure out its genre.
Any help is appreciated! I'll try to list any and all conflicting information I can . . .

- I usually write litfic or surrealist but this one was out of my usual realm and takes place in a future (but not too far) dystopian-type setting
- There is a length issue - the book is about 54k and I don't believe it should be longer (does that even make it a "book?")
- 80% of its characters, including 2/3 of its protagonists, are children, but...
- This book is not appropriate for children. It has elements of horror, dark themes, drugs, language, sexual content, and torture.
