OK, I am gearing up for ~~tomorrow~~ Sunday but will need some help yet again.

(Ooops! Why did I think today was Saturday???)

I am using a different computer, being now the proud owner of a MacBook!
I use Chrome, so the Firefox chat option won't work.
I'm not sure what's going to happen, but will start trying about an hour before the due time. All you first-aiders, be prepared for a struggle!

Mibbit might offer the easiest solution, it's a web-based IRC, see Sara's post here. Or, goto http://mibbit.com/chat which should show this sign-in screen:

I selected the yellow Server link and typed irc.starchat.net into the Server: field.

I typed my usual nick into the Nick: field. (You would type your own nick here!)
Note, if you have a registered nick, you would enter: nick password

I typed #absolutewrite into the Channel: field.

Then I selected the Connect button.

Which took me into the #AbsoluteWrite chat channel.

From there, I entered on the input line: /join #awcritcircle birolsangels

Which took me into the crit group room.

I can't believe I completely forgot about this. Thing is: I was at a big wedding in Wales the weekend before, returned on Easter Sunday, and the very next day started at my new job, and by the time the weekend came around all the stuff that didn't get done during the week had to get done!
Yes folks, after 20 years fooling around trying to be a writer I has me a day job again--- and it's great!
I'll try to be there net time but in May I'm adding 4 hours a week to my work load so we'll see.

Just wanted to say sorry, I won't be able to make it to any future meets ... the reason being that since April 1st I've been working at a day job, almost full time, and so my weekeends are full of all the stuff I used to spread out over the week!
I've enjoyed my time with you all and also benefited a lot from your crits. Best of luck to everyone!
