Happy New Year y'all!!! Hey, jude, is there an Anxiety Shirt for peeps. We sure could use them. lol I heard doggies don't like the noise of fireworks at all. I'm not crazy 'bout them either. Whatcha all do last night, or shouldn't I ask?

Hello house of 2013.
Haven't been around much for a while. Guess some things have changed. Don't know about you but I'm looking forward to the rest of 2013. I've been offered a permanent job at the pet store after working there only a few months. I've found a great recipe containing shirataki noodles. I gave my two Löwchens to my mother because she missed having a dog and those two didn't really have the energy level or drive I really wanted (or needed). Still see them everyday and they seem very content. ...Got a bunch of writing done. Should probably update that...the dalmatian just stole a bottle of Pepsi and a ballpoint pen..should probably do something about that...lol..brb...

I had a half a frankfuter roll 'n slice o' cheese for breakfast 'n dropped two of the other rolls on the floor. Not a great way to start New Year's day. And you guys?

We watched a couple episodes of the 3rd season of Justified last night and went to bed early.
(The kids slept over at my mom and dad's, so... it was quiet. Aside from the fireworks.)
Oooooo. Since the kids were away, you and your husband decided to rekindle the fire!
Uh-huh, I thought that's what she meant by "fireworks" too.
In other News:
Crockpot full of Black-eyed Peas done - Getting ready to make Stewed Tomatoes, Biscuits and Brown Rice to go with.
Also, gonna splurge and make some Southern, Fried Chicken.
After today, Mr. Hunny and I are back to trying to eat better and get a little exercise in...
...Well, exept for the occasional bowl of cheese grits and a pint of Haagen-Dazs on Saturday night.

My diet's been going rather well so far. Lost 5.5kg in 3 months.
Of course, I haven't weighed myself since Christmas, so I've probably put back on at least 1kg.

I don't make resolutions anymore. I have never, not once, maintained one for more than about 6 hours.
I'm sure if I'd made a resolution to step up my diet, I'd already be mixing ice cream, Skittles and chocolate mousse in a blender and eating it with a spoon made of caramel sugar and whipped cream.
