I've lurked on this forum for months while researching where to submit my Romance. Now that I'm in the interminable "waiting game" phase, I thought it's finally time I come clean and introduce myself 
(it's better to bite my nails in the company of others).
My name is Layla, and I've picked Tara Quan as my pen name (I was trying to avoid the whole "Mom stumbling onto my plan to become a 'hot, explicit' romance writer situation," but that already happened...yesterday, as a matter of fact). I wrote a blog post about it, and who knew my mother googles my name on a regular basis?
