Hi all:
Just to introduce myself. I have been writing mysteries since '95. Mostly novels, but have also done about 8 short stories (under 10,000 words and enjoy it. I haven't published any yet but its an enjoyable hobby, just the same. Also fly aircraft on my flight simulator 6-7 hrs. a day, so I keep very busy. I'm a member of a flying club at our local airport and also would like to start a writing club in our retirement community. Any help in doing this would be much appreciated as far as tips or comments.

Hello, what's up? Wow. You have experience. I myself have been on the site for just a little while, wrote very little and learned a lot of stuff. Good luck!

A pleasure to meet you. What would the goal of the writing club be, the pleasure of it? Possible sale? Self-pub? Sharing? Socialization?

What the members want from it will help shape it. I've been in a writing group for a long time and would be glad to share more about how we operate. Not that it's how you should operate, but it's one way that works.

Maryn, shaking hands

Merged the two threads together as I think one intro thread will suffice. Unless of course you were Batman/Bruce Wayne, then I think two would be better. ;)

And welcome to the watercooler :welcome:
