I'm new to the AW forums, obviously; I thought it would be a good way to get into the spirit of NaNo and writing in general before it's actually November. I've never written anything longer than about 15K before, so this should be an interesting exercise. Hopefully one that doesn't make me want to tear my hair out!

I've read a few threads around here and was pretty surprised with how civil the discourse seemed. It's very refreshing.
