Were fleas worse this year?

I live in Ontario as well, and I've seen a ton of fleas! Though both our dogs and cats get regular flea treatments, it seems these little devils keep coming back.

Over here on the Middle East-Coast of NA, no fleas whatsoever.

We have an invasion of stinkbugs in the process of reaching its peak (I hope).

Occasionally we have issues with box elder bugs, chiggers, and ticks. Literally invasions of ticks.

Other than that, thankfully we have no fleas. Fingers crossed.*

Edit: In regards to our dogs as well. Although family by the ocean complain about feral cats and the fleas they bring.
