Hey everyone! So I'm Jesse, I write YA crossover. After almost four years of trying to push my debut novel in my series to agents, publishers, and whatnot I've decided to self-publish it. The only problem is that I have no idea what the heck I am doing. I know I should do B&N, Amazon, and Smashwords (although I've heard that if you go directly to the sources it is better, no clue why though). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!
Jesse

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

Hi and welcome. Not to send someone to another site...but I think that the Kindle boards on Amazon are very informative and worth checking out if you are considering self-pubbing.
