I have a great crit partner and I'm looking for a couple more.
My hope is to swap chapters a few at a time for line-by-line crits that target a variety of things: mainly plot, pacing, plausibility, general readability and ways I can tighten the writing, etc. Don't stress if you're not strong in all areas. I doubt any of us is.

For what it's worth, I haven't been writing fiction long, but I've been told by published authors and the president of a writer's guild that I'm nearly at the professional level. I've also been told I'm strong in grammar and punctuation. (My mother is a retired English teacher. It's been drilled into me from the cradle. LOL)

My MS is Romantic Suspense, with a side order of Paranormal. My hero has slowed aging and was born in the late 1800's, so there may be some appeal to historical fiction folks. The heroine is a modern day 22 year old.

My story is tame with moral characters, but it isn't Christian fiction. I need critters that don't mind reading work that 'rides the fence'. (I am a Christian who writes fiction, not a writer who writes Christian fiction. There is apparently a BIG difference.)

I have finished the first MS (105k) and am in the polishing stages. It is tame with no foul language, but it clearly has adult themes, foreplay and some violence.

My sequel, currently ~ 107k (may change up or down some, I need to write about two more chapters -- it's still in first draft), has adult themes, mild language, a fairly graphic description of birth, and sex between married characters. I'm mentioning it in case I get into a crit relationship that lasts through the second book.

If you'd like more info, please ask.

If you'd like to swap a chapter or two for a mutual, line by line crit and see if we're compatible, PM me.
