Thanks everyone for your kind words, especially Chacounne for that nice little essay. We went out and had a wonderful rib dinner at Montgomery Inn.
And if you're wondering what we got each other for gifts, she had planned on buying a nice dress when she reached her target weight (She's been on LA Weight Loss for the past year). She recently has clocked in at having lost 102 pounds, so my anniversary gift to her was the nice dress (her idea, btw). Meanwhile, she got me a new electric shaver. Works well, too.
No bites on the children's book yet, but when it does get accepted, I'm dedicating it to her. But she doesn't know that yet.
Thanks again, we did have a wonderful anniversary, topping off a wonderful ten years of marriage.
