Hey!!

Last night I was watching YouTube videos. Then I went to sleep, I wake up today, have my breakfast and when I go to YouTube to watch some videos, videos won't play!! I thought it was a flash-player problem, so I went, downloaded and installed the latest version of the Flash Player. Didn't work, and it gave me messages that the program had been installed and everything. What do you think could've happened? Please tell me you guys can watch YouTube videos!

Thanks for your help!!
Magali.

Update:

Thank goodness I have Chrome because I am playing a YouTube video on Chrome, no problem, but still, it appears that flash player is successfully installed on IE9 and still YouTube videos won't play there. Oh, and also, I just discovered Flash Player won't appear on my IE add-ons!! No crap! Ok, if there's anyone here who can help me. You know I want to play videos on any browser I want.

What security software do you use? I think you've told me, but I've forgotten.

I suspect that restarting your computer will solve the problem.

Writing from IE9. Just tried to play a YouTube video on IE9 and failed, again. But I suspect the problem lies in the updates the computer has been performing. You know, when you go to shut the computer down, Windows tells you new updates are ready to be installed? Well, I press the shut down button, and it installs those updates. Then I turn the computer back on, it configures the updates and lets me log into my user account. I am not saying for sure the updates are the problem, but they have a new update to install every time I go to shut down and then this little problem happens and I'm like Ahhh what in the world is going on?

I am going to keep watching videos from Chrome in the meantime and keep checking to see if there's another suggestion for me. I know this is a small computer problem, but not being able to do something, any little thing I want to do, annoys me to no end, so...

That's it for now, guys.
Sincerely
Magali.

Alex:

I am watching YouTube videos on Chrome right now. I haven't tried Firefox, but I am going to try it now. I have now realized that Flash and IE9 are the ones with the problem. Can't believe I didn't see it before. Okay, I am going to try to play a video on Firefox now and if it plays then my computer and my program are A-okay. Thanks, Alex. I will mark this issue as solved soon.

Yep! Videos work on Firefox, too! I am writing from Firefox right now and listening to Britney Spears' I'm A Slave 4 U (nice song to listen to,, :sarcasm) So I guess this confirms my computer and my flash player are fine. Therefore I am going to edit this thread and mark it as solved. I will remember to log on to YouTube from Chrome or Firefox from now on.

Once again, thank you so, so much!
Sincerely
Magali.
