I am having trouble with my MS Word program. All of my documents now have proofreading symbols all over. For example, a backwards P where there is supposed to be a new paragraph, and little dots to represent the spaces between words. Does anyone know how I can remove these symbols from my view?

You've got "Invisible characters" showing. There's likely a button on your toolbar with that backwards P, otherwise known as a paragraph symbol, on it.

That will turn it off.

Yep, It's on the Standard toolbar. It will have the tool tip "Show/Hide".
