Can someone please tell me how can I de-activate my account in this website?

The management don't generally deactivate accounts; there are several reasons. Nor do they remove your posts. If you don't want to be here, just don't log in anymore.

Sorry that it's not for you, and the door's open if you change your mind.

Deleting accounts leaves holes in the database or something similar that can cause problems, so we don't do it. Just stop posting, and your account will naturally vanish in time.

Just because people don't agree with your views on one specific subject, and vice versa, doesn't mean you should pack your bags and leave. This is a big board full of helpful advice that could aid you in getting your story finished and your book published. Stay for that reason if nothing else.
