As for The Grail ... there's been a lot of information bandied about in various circles about who did what to whom (and who is actually whom) and I've yet to hear an honest story.

Making veiled threats against all and sundry is quite childish and not very professional.

I have never EVER plagarised anybody or anything. Everything I have ever written is and always has been my own work entirely. I've never even nicked an idea.

I did indeed speak to Debra Spiller on the telephone.

I knew about Debra Spiller and Paul Zealand setting up authors in action but did not know until I spoke to them both when I became suspicious this site was not as it said - both were pretending to be many other people. I was refunded whatever the fee was - £35, £25 or whatever, I don't remember the amount, but either could be right.

I was never involved in a witness protection programme. I did give Debra Spiller some information about my career in the force as I thought we were friends. It was a vulnerable time in my life but I never ever had 'moods' on any forum of Debra Spillers.

I did not find out about the bankruptcy until well after we had terminated contact and it is sad that anybody has to go through this. I have family members who have been in that situation and I have never criticised anybody for it. My concerns have only been in relation to any potential activitiy involving money when someone who is bankrupt shouldn't do - and I openly say I don't know if that included writing forums or not.

This was never a personal attack - I have never ever done that to Debra Spiller or anybody else. Lots of people knew I knew her and have contacted me over the years with their concerns. This is the first time I have been public about any of it.

The last I heard, Debra Spiller had breast cancer, was married to David Cornish and lived in Tenerife. I have no idea if any of that is true.
