There was a time when videogames were impressive because of their contents, and developers didn't needed to make stupid antics to promote them... ah, who am I kidding? :cry:

They did try to scale back E3 a couple years ago to make it less of a song and dance pony, but the press and fans gave them a hard time. Now they're pressured into doing elaborate presentations they know they're not good at and the same press is there to make fun of them.

Wow, that was painful to watch.

I actually thought Ubisoft was the worst.

1) The laser tag thing was just horrible.

2) Breathing game. See, the other games might be good even though the presentations were stupid, but a game about breathing is just unavoidably stupid. :)

So much effort goes into disguising the fact that there's no actual game to play. Makes one wonder what an E3 presentation of Zork would look like. They'd probably have tried to show us the Grue. Horrible.
