I'm glad that except for allergies (zomg K_Woods nearly-going-to-the-ER allergies are bad -- and he's developing more? :( ) things are going largely okay in here.

Ace none of the threads have caught my eye for some time :) But like Fenika said, all one big happy family anyway.

Also, AT&T's customer service just rocked my fucking universe. I mean wow.

Not too bad.

Currently cranking away at the next episode of the serial. I have roughly six weeks left before it posts and I'm about 60% done (I think) in terms of where the story is. That is, if I told you this was an hourlong TV show, I've just hit the (approx.) 35 minute mark.

And I've found a possible pub for the print edition of the serial.

Maybe...

And you?

Kewlies. Sounds like things are coming along for you. I've been slowly getting back to writing now that the muse and the mood has returned (I'm a fickle beast). The word wars have been helping.

Speaking of, if anyone wants to do one tonight, I can write my third scene in superfast mode and then spend some time tomorrow editing :)

Also, ATT always manages to underwhelm me. You know the modems they send out, the ones that claim to be oh so safe have their default security code set to all numbers? How hard is it to put in random letters? srsly.

Here, there, everywhere.
Meh days are not good, IRU. :Hug2:

Your AT&T story reminded me of when I tried to set up my website through Yahoo WebHosting. On my side, the service wouldn't recognize Yahoo until they set their codes straight; on Yahoo's side, they said they couldn't set the codes straight until the service recognized Yahoo. Fun. Finally, someone at Yahoo set the codes by hand and all was cleared.

Fenika, what do you mean by "tonight" exactly?

I'm rather amazed right now. My writing has been very sporadic lately but I've somehow managed to write 1000 words today. Reading a thread here late last night gave me several ideas for the character I plan on featuring in a series of short stories. I have one story already written with another started, and the one I began today too.

And I'm still figuring out how to make a third story work when all I know for certain is that I'm going to have Karma high-fiving the MC at the end. :D

Thrilling development! I can finally use the ream of copy paper that Fenika left in my car because...I got a new printer! Also it is wireless so I can print from the living room, or the kitchen, or the patio, or the bathroom even!!!!! Soon the home will be covered in printed out scribbled on bits of WIP.

Wireless printers are cool. Except for the having to get up to walk to whatever room the printer is in, grabbing what printed and going back to sit down to find it didn't print correctly; back to the closet for the second attempt. Argh.

I am glad that the paper will be put to good use, from the far off realm of the bathroom even! ;) And glad you got the printer home okay.

I want a wireless printer. I don't have any particular need for one, I just think they're cool. :p

Ditto :) I do have more paper sitting around though, so I'm sure I could find something to print at some point. First I have to move though. No buying stuff before a move unless required.

Nononono -- the nearly-going-to-the-ER was back when he was an infant, and after keeping him well clear of the cause for a year or so it hasn't repeated (and it's been about 2 years since we reintroduced the suspected allergen, after he tested negative for the allergy). The allergies he is developing now are of the stupid-annoying-pollen-makes-me-cranky-and-sneezy variety. Just like Mommy. *sigh*

Also, AT&T's customer service just rocked my fucking universe. I mean wow.

*peers down into a large crevasse*

Uh, guys? You know that ice buildup way down in the ninth circle? Is it creeping upwards????

Or maybe today's just Telecommunications Customer Service Day. I went down to our co-op's office since I was in the area, and -- well, we may be on bare minimum broadband, but the service just about makes up for the lack of speed.

Hmmmm...yeah, I'll go with the latter :D

Ooh, neat on the new printer, KP! Ours is old and requires starting up a fourth computer to get it on the network. Wireless would probably solve those woes...oh well. I can wait.

There's Go, and then there's Shogi. Two different games--though they are both very chesslike, in their different ways.

I already have it open. I'll get to it soon. Really! :D (In all seriousness, it's next up after I finish listening to something my dad recommended, on investing. Unless my mood nosedives again.)

Okay, so the next installment of the notsex-scene will probably go up Thursday or Friday :D

Awesomesauce. I was going to suggest your characters enjoyed some afterwards, but then I had a dirty thought. Ewwwwww.

On that awkward note, morning folks.

I need to study, revise, finish cleaning, and all this stuff today but atm I has a headache and a meh feeling. So I might go grab my Kay book and read moar. I'm already well past page 100.

Good morning, everyone! In addition to my Word War count yesterday (fun times, thanks to everyone who was there!), I went home and tackled the novel I've been revising. It was definitely one of those situations where I know, logically, that I made some substantial progress, but it feels like I haven't. Maybe because I'm still working on the same two chapters I've been on since last week? :p

And there will be no writing time today, unless I sneak it in at work. I'm going home to cook dinner, call up my student loan servicer and ask them what the heck is wrong with my bill, put away laundry and possibly do a grocery run. *sigh*

Fenika, I say headache and meh feeling are excuse enough to get out of chores and schoolwork! :D

Maybe I have a word war hangover ;) ;) I'm looking forward to finishing the short (almost there) and editing it up. Technically I need it done by Friday so I can post it as a challenge piece. No problem, right?

And I wish I could get out of studying, but I don't want to be a n00b come Monday when surgery starts.

Good luck with the student loan nuts.
