I was wondering, how do you establish a fan base in the midst of all the internet clutter? And do you just promote using your pen name? An epub/POD publisher has offered me a contract for a novelette, and now I realize I'm gonna have to do some self-promoting. I thought that since my piece is short, then I should go ahead and sign since their terms look pretty standard (e.g. royalties on retail).
