I used the writing skills I honed on this 'ol board to start a new business!

Yes, I secured an SBA loan almost immediately in part--I like to think--because my business plan was written with a little style. A little pizzaz I learned right here on AW.

I haven't given up hopes for my novel(s)--just put them on hold. I have to make this thing work first, then I'll be back in force to pester you, my strange cyber-friends!

Hey, that's great! I wish teachers could find a way to get it across to students who have no interest in writing: Writing well, or merely writing without mistakes, is going to be a good thing all your lives, serving you in ways you cannot yet imagine.
