A preview of Michael Grant's "Lies"

A few weeks ago, I met Michael Grant, author of the Gone series, at the SCBWI conference in Miami. He gave a few of us a preview of the first few chapters of the third book in the series - Lies. With Mr. Grant's permission, I'm posting this preview on my blog, one chapter at a time.

Ah. I guess that's the risk one runs when calling a book Lies. It is a work of fiction, by the way.

Okay, now that we've had our fun: Congratulations, and I hope you get many, many hits for your blog updates. I'd be happy to change the thread title (for example, put quotations around 'Lies') if you like.

Good idea. No sense confusing anyone. I do enough of that just by talking to people.

Oh, and if you think this should go into any other threads ie: novels, writing for kids, etc...feel free. I already put it in Did you update your blog?

Figuring everyone is as impatient as I am, I updated my blog. Now all six chapter of the LIES preview are up. The book doesn't come out until May 4, so enjoy this preview.
