I wrote a blog about Christopher Reeve and the Reevefoundation joined me on Twitter thanking me, and, they put a link to my blog as their new update. That is just so amazing.

Hope it doesn't sound like I'm bragging. I'm actually just so proud and had to tell somebody before bursting!!

Wow.

Okay, thanks for listening.

That is really, really cool! He inspired my mom so much when she got sick enough to have a hard time going out much.

Ben, that's funny! I had to google it just to see, haha.

backslashbaby, I love Christopher Reeve so much. My family is so sick of me watching Superman and and Somewhere in Time. Glad your mom found inspiration!

'Superman' is one of my all time favorite films. And Christopher Reeve was an impressive man. Very cool for you!

They probably saw it via Google Alerts. I use this service so I always know when and where my company's products are discussed online and can respond in an appropriate and timely manner.

I get a half dozen Google alerts, including variations of my name and nickname. Its fun when a complete stranger mentions you and you can show up a day later to either thank them or defend yourself.

If you write it, they will read.

I saw Christopher Reeve and Julie Haggerty doing "Love Letters" in a small theater about six months before he had his accident. Having been in the same room with him somehow made it more real, and more heartbreaking.
