Songs About Sexual Attraction

Yep, that's right. Sexual attraction.

Basically I'm planning an idea that I had the other day - a paranormal romance involving a human woman and an incubus - and this includes songs for the soundtrack playlist that I'll be listening to when I'm writing it. The songs that I'm looking for at the moment are for Chapter Two. We are introduced to the MMC and there's a lot of sexual attraction (their relationship is a very sexual one). The narration is in the first person from the FMC's point of view, so any songs by females would be brilliant.

If possible, post links so I can listen to it (if using YouTube, make sure the video can be viewed in the UK (some of the record labels have banned us because of copyright issues

)).

"Dracula Moon" by Joan Osborne is on my play list for that purpose.

OMG, I love Closer.

I never thought about using it for that chapter (of course I'm going to listen to it during the writing - turns me right on.

)because it just screams F***!!! but I suppose it could work because they get down 'n' dirty when we next see them.

OMG, a brilliant song just came on my Itunes that I hadn't even thought of: LoveGame by Lady GaGa. I shall use it for this chapter and use Closer later, like I'd originally thought of.

I've always thought Breakdown, by Tom Petty and Sweet The Sting, by Tori Amos were really sexy songs, among most songs which always seem to boil down to sexual attraction anyway.

I don't know about it from a lyrical standpoint, but almost anything by Roxy Music, especially The Main Thing (also More than This), to me just screams sex. Bryan Ferry's Slave to Love too.

I love Closer, but I've always interpreted it as a song rejecting sex rather than embracing sex. I know the theme of the album was losing everything hence the Downward Spiral...

The idea behind the album is of someone who sheds everything around them to a potential nothingness, but through career, religion, relationship, belief and so on

quote from Trent Reznor, though I've read more direct interpretations in some of his interviews. Still love the song...
