I LOVE rewriting. It makes my life complete.
Although, of course, it's always more fun when you get it right the first time lol.
I'm excited about your rewritage :)

Hello, hello...just popping to say "thank god it's Friday, especially one before a short holiday work week!" NANO writer...are you ready for the end of the month? I admire all of you who have been working on novels!

If I can achieve a scenario of escaping the in-laws over thanksgiving weekend, I think I can get my NaNo wordcount in this year (it will be my first win!). Anybody got any good in-law ditching strategies? I'm thinking on Friday while they're all in a mob of shoppers, I slink away and hide in the starbucks. Yay? It's either that or build a fortress out of parkas and ski pants in the closet and hide out there with my headlamp and a bag of candy corn.

Cheering you all on!
I wanted to beat my old record for finishing NaNo, which was 21 days. But that's not going to happen 'cuz I basically got lazy about it.

This weekend is going to be a NaNo catch-up weekend, for me, Sage. Not that I'm behind, but that I haven't been thinking in terms of "oh, right,I'm doing NaNo!" Touching bases with my local group should jolt me out of the hyper-focus I've been having lately.

I hope.

Apparently I can bust out 10K on the weekends, but only if I do 2K for the rest of the week.

Bethany! I'm reading "Handcuffs" right now and have about 100 pages left...I'm loving it! It's keeping me up later than I should be b/c I don't want to stop reading each night.

June...I'm repping... :)

ah yes, being the author of "bondage fiction for teens" is always a good icebreaker at a party. :)

I might ask to pick your brain at some point, since your a teacher and wrote a book that doesn't shy away from talking about sex. If all goes well with mine, I'll be in the same boat and would love to hear some of your thoughts/experiences.

Sure, I've been extraordinarily lucky, I think. Great local support. There's been a bit of insult through the internet, but nothing too bad.

I did have one parent email me through my writing website earlier this year to ask a question about school supplies. That was weird, since I write under my maiden name, and though it isn't a secret by any means, well, it was just a weird way to contact me.

Hey guys. If anyone has a sec to look over about 60 pages, I'd be forever in your debt!! Its UF but has humor. Its a finished book that my agent is having me rewrite to take out any vampire references. Do NOT need a line crit, just someone to give a quick read over and make sure I haven't left something important out as I replotted. Then I can move forward! :D

PM me and I will get it right out!!
