Got a mailer daemon email telling me that my query to Irene had been delayed two days ago, and today I got the message saying delivery failed.
Time to re-query, I guess.
Has anyone else gotten through to her email lately without a problem?

I did indeed use that email. I'm actually making a few minor changes to my first chapter, so I'm kind of okay that it bounced back.
Okay, so here's my submission history with Irene Kraas:
Queried with first five pages
Request for ten more pages.
Then, today, two days later a request for the next fifteen pages and a note that while there is some work to be done, there's a lot to like about my pages.
So far she seems polite and professional, so fingers crossed. Though I'm a bit worried about the fact that she seems to want to read on an exclusive basis as I have two other fulls out at the moment.

News! Irene offered to represent me! WOOOOT!!! I also heard from Sally Harding of the Cook agency, she wants to give me ‘the Call’. If she wants to rep me too, looks like I’ll have a decision to make. I’m super excited! Wow, I can’t believe this is happening!!

Thanks guys! It's my second book, queried my first to death and got rejections all around...but I guess this one's a keeper!!

AuntB, soulcascade probably can't hear you because she's got her *party* music TURNED UP TOO LOUD [pounds broom handle on ceiling] so I'll answer for her--I think she writes fantasy.
