Herb--Where you guys headin out to today?

I've got "eat lunch with your kid" at school today. As long as I don't come out of there with Gushers stuck to my butt, I should be good.

I hope it's as good as you guys say it is. The trailers make it look alot different than the book.

I didn't think it was that different...I mean, the "visions" rather than the "voice" are different,but that's b/c Team Edward peeps like us would have died without him in the movie for so long.

Really, whatever they added made the story better I thought, lol.

I want to see it. :( My friend got tickets for tonight, and he asked me last night if I wanted to go, but I decided not to. I don't handle crazy people too well. :/

Agreed. I didn't know how I was going to feel about it, but I was happy with most everything (except the exageratted Volturi scene).

You know there wasn't any craziness! I was quite pleased. the only time anyone did a "whoo, hoo" was when Taylor took his shirt off. Besides that, everyone behaved themselves, lol. Even when Edward came on the screen for the first time....

Our theater, too! My husband even commented that Edward only got one little "woot" when he took his shirt off, but then my brother-in-law's girlfriend said it was because we'd been looking at Jacob all night and it made him look puny. lol

Ugh Just got an invite to my high school 10 year reunion... When did I get this old!!??? *cry*

And it's in December... how the heck does that give me enough time to lose the mandatory 20 lbs that you lose for these occasions?!

I need to go watch movies wherever you go. Last year, I dealt with teenage girls screaming each time Eddie came on the scream, some dude farting loudly in the front row, and one of my friends laughing every time Alice tore James's head off. :/

My high school doesn't really do reunions. Found out that a couple of guys tried to get one together for what woudl have been my 10th. They rented out a community hall in the neighboring town but only 6 people showed up.

yeah this is not an official reunion thing either... but they are making it a pub thing and doing it during the holidays when people (including me) will be in town...

I may not go though... there is no reason for me to show everyone in high school that I gained like 75 lbs and amounted to nothing in life!!

Ugh. If I were there, I would smack you. You have a lovely family and you should not equate your sense of worth with your weight.

naa the weight just adds to it... lol my lack of sense of worth is related to the fact that I am uneducated and unemployed... which is really the two majour criteria society will judge you by!

Vero, if I was in Canada, we'd go shopping and you'd get your makeup done professionally, and I'd take you to a hair stylist, so when you walk into your class reunion, everyone will be like this: :Jaw:





And they'd talk about how hot you are. :D

LOL Thanks Becca... It's just hard when you've changed so much since high school... oh well... I'm not even 100% sure I'll be in town on that night... and even if I am, I don't know if my sister will feel up to watching the kids... so there's no reason to freak out about yet... though maybe I can use it as motivation to at least lose 10 lbs by Christmas!
