(No, I don't know how to pronounce it either.)

I've recently started querying for my first novel and have already found this website a valuable resource (and found some great writer blogs here too).

If you want to pronounce every letter, you have to stutter. A lot. And I'm much too lazy to do that.

Judg - In my mind, I've either been pronouncing it as "coccyx" or just spelling it out. "Kicks" is comparatively quite elegant, and - maybe less elegant but more appropriate - conjures an image of my manuscript kicking serious butt.

(which, sadly, it has failed miserably to do thus far...but I know that is all just par for the course)
