Giving action to a car

alright so the book i'm writing right now has a couple of scenes that revolve around cars... and well... i'm falling to the same verbs for the cars movement. [e.g Jerk and Rolled.]
anyway, i just need some help thinking of new verbs for cars... lol

Think of the action which is taking place and use a visual or auditory description:

Dipped (four fat guys getting in a car), flashed past, growled, purred, roared, rocketed, skidded, slid, thundered...

Watch films with vehicles, then try and describe what the car does.
