My marketing manager has just introduced me to US author JM Griffin with a view to assist each other in marketing our books. Sort of an individual facebook. Has anyone else been doing this? If so, how did it work for you. This is very new to me and quite exciting. And I'd like it to work. So any ideas would be gratefully received.

You mean like a marketing co-op? I think any time you can partner with another author you like and respect with the mutual goal of promoting each other, it's a win-win. Promotion can be hard and time consuming if it's not something you know how to do and enjoy doing. So having a partner can take the stress off. Not to mention it's not as blatant as self promo, which can get annoying after a while. Best of luck!
