Hi, everone. I am new to this site. I have been writing since I was 12 years old. I have just completed my first book (which I started 12 years ago, when I was 14). And, no, it is not thousands of pages, it is really rather short (I did massive rewriting and editing for most of the time i was working on it). I really do not know what else to say, so if you have any questions, just ask me.

Uncle Jim talks about being disciplined about writing; setting aside time whether you feel like it or not. I am struggling with that myself, but working on making it a part of my routine.
After awhile you will find all the helpful threads if you just click around. There's info on format, genres, queries, and there are also social groups for all kinds of ages and lifestyles. Here are some good links:
