I've put this in Resources by Era, but it only opened today and it's been put together by the University of Southampton and the University of Reading.

The online muster roll database currently holds just under 90,000 service records. These are taken from muster rolls, housed in The National Archives (TNA), for the years 1369 - 1453.

Agincourt archers on this too!

What is...

fun is that you can type in any name you like and the search will find it if it exists. Gives you a good idea of names used or not used during the period.

Oops! I came across that site a couple of days ago and just PM'd you on it, PDR. Should have visited the forum first.

Texas. It's like a whole 'nother country.
Very cool, pdr. I looked up my own surname and came up with 44 hits, although a few appear to be multiple assignments for the same individuals--a John and a Thomas with the French Expedition in 1415, followed by a Thomas and a John with the French Garrison in 1416-17. But what a resource!

Thanks for posting this!
