Yeah, Proctor Silex was my first thought too. Comes from watching too much Bob Barker & "The Price is Right" while growing up, methinks.

Despite the connection to kitchen appliances, I thought the name sounded male, but it does serve as a good surname for either gender. *shrug*

My first thought was, Appliance.

And since most appliances are in the kitchen, and most women are in the kitchen, I thought it was a housewife.

I thought it was a male, although it reminds me of 'Siren'. And Felix cat food.

Anyway, I'm thinking it's an India, Africa or German name. Perhaps Russian.

I'm also thinking thirties, kind of cute, boring, not extremly bright individual. Who also perhaps needs a shave.
