in this particular case we had two opposing views on women in the business. i just found it a bit ridiculous for nms to say that suggesting there is some sexism is the business is way off base... knowing that he is a man and never experienced being a woman. and then zep using her own experience to prove him wrong. so then later he changed his opinion. yeah, there are different perspectives but some have more weight than others. and a women who is two steps in front of me has more practical and relevant information. i don't want to hear what nms has to say about minorities in the business either.

If you don't like someone else's posts or opinions -- don't read 'em! How easy is that? Just don't read 'em! That's the solution to your problem.

I've yet to see anyone claiming they're delivering gospel from the mountaintop. Everything is opinion, influenced by personal experience.

Expecting everyone to have the same opinions and experiences, and getting ratty when they don't agree with yours, is even more unrealistic than your chances of selling a spec script this week.

We're all well aware that you don't like Neal, Nikee but you should follow Derek's advice and bear in mind that he isn't Screenwriting mod anymore. He's a super mod. And if a super mod is stepping in to lock threads and lay the smack down, you need to sit up and take notice because future episodes of more of the same aren't going to go down well at all.
