British publishers

So, since november I've periodically been sending query letters to American agents I found on agentquery.com, without any results.
I've started thinking about trying British publishers, partly because they're closer to me (I live in Iceland). Does anyone know of some database or website about British publishers and/or agents?

If you buy Writers and Artists Yearbook you will find all the reputable publishers and agents in the UK. The book is excellent and I have a copy of it. It is available on Amazon.co.uk and costs roughly £12.00. It is well worth buying a copy.

I was first introduced to it by a friend who bought it for me for my birthday and now I would never be without it.

Bearing in mind the new one's out every September so you can either buy one now and the new edition in a couple of months, or wait and only buy one copy when the 2008 one comes out.

Or The Writer's Handbook, which is the one I use. The only difference is the latter doesn't have artists in it. It has all Uk and US agents and pubishers however, and some nice articles in between.
