I've never been asked to write "Requested Materials" on anything, and I've never written it on anything that has been requested, and whatever I have sent has always arrived safely and reached the agent's eyes quickly.
So I wouldn't sweat it either way.
I heard somewhere, not sure where, that it's good to write "Requested Material" and include a print-out of the request, so the person knows it's legit and not a scammer trying to beat the system or something. I think it was a publisher's guidelines, not sure though.
I write requested material on the outside of an envelope. I also remember reading somewhere to put that on the outside of the envelope if an agent requests material.
