I am a struggling writer (aren't we all) trying to get my first novel out of my head, but new ideas are always bombarding me. Sigh.

I am hoping to get critiques along the way because I do believe in that value of beta reading and getting as much feedback as I can.

Hi zephyr1975, and welcome! Okay, I'm taking a poll. Where is 'Upstate New York'? And why is it always capitalized? :D

Seriously, I think that anyone outside of NY thinks that those of us New Yorkers who do not live in NYC live in this mythical area of 'Upstate New York'. We even tried posing the question of where is it to our local newscast and they had about 10 different answers.... :Shrug: ** sigh ** Just one of life's little mysteries I guess ...

Welcome to AW. If you're interested in getting a crit, then a great place to find one is in the SYW (share your work forum). Quite a handful of people are very willing to give their crits on pieces.
