I generally skip the newbie threads of most message boards, but today I thought, "Ah, why not?"
Here I am. Newb.
I am an amateur scriptwriter. I wanna go pro. And I am here because I need an agent for my recently finished script.
I googled "agent" and a few other words too (don't recall all the combinations I tried) and one search eventually brought me here. This place seems very legit. It's skewed more toward novelists though. So I'm in a slight minority here. But that's okay. There's a small screenwriting community here and that's all I need.
I have a real name in real life that I generally don't share on the internet. And when I write a script, I use a nom de plume: Sheila West. So you can call me Sheila if you feel like it.
I already have my work being read by some folks here. So .... I'll be stickin' around.
