Hey guys! That nut who bought the rights to AL to make a movie...
That's me

.
Let me answer the questions that I've seen so far, and you're welcome to ask me any others that you'd like.
1. How the heck will this work?
We thought about trying to beat some sort of coherent narrative out of it for a while, but then decided it would be more effective as a cross between a documentary (interviews with the Teas) and a Zucker Brothers (Airplane, Kentucky Fried Movie) comedy.
Rather than a full narrative, the interviews will segue into a silly short that visualizes the chapter.
2. Wait...what?
Yeah, I get that a lot

. Followed with 'you're nuts'. Probably. I've learned so much here at AW, especially about scam agents and publishers (which I didn't know existed), and try to share that information whenever possible.
The goal here is to create another medium for sharing that information, and hopefully making a very silly movie in it's own right.
3. Will there be a scene with nothing on the screen?
We're working out a couple of super short, funny options for that chapter, and one of them is exactly that - 'this chapter was never completed...moving on...'
4. First of April/release date
Nope, not kidding. (though it would be fun to shoot for that as a release date, no promises.)
It absolutely is a low budget film (what studio in their right mind would do this). I spent some time looking for even small studio support - and I'm currently going it alone.
I work in film as my 'day job', so there might be some surprising cameos, but yes, we've planned to use unknowns, and to re use some performers for different scenes, wearing purposely bad disguises.
5. Director?
I'm not Swedish, or David Lynch though I'm a fan of both him and those little red fish.
6. Options Money
Yep, the money paid for the rights is going to the Medical Fund.
Nice to see ya!
