The blog series for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month was going to end with October, but I have received so many E-mails of things to include that I am carrying it on until the E-mails stop. This is also going to be turned into a charity E-book. I am hoping I can partner with an author of a book on breast cancer for that, or at least include a Foreword from her. (I have not contacted her yet.) I also finally found a charity welcoming proceeds from the sales of the E-book. I wanted to originally donate 100% of the proceeds, but I talked with my publisher and there are certain issues to be worked out first.
My meds are slipping. I got all existentially again.
Yeah, I know. Not a real word. I'm working on my own dictionary. We are very close to publication.
heheh
I blogged about why we like interviews. I did a lot of thinking about what people look for in an interview and what makes one good. It's interesting, because it has a lot to do with the story behind stories - people want to know them, authors want to share them. I hope someone else can find this interesting as well!
On Bites, an awesome YA writers contest involving some major players at major publishing houses and a kick-ass writing workshop out of New York! Come take a look!
