Just thought I'd pop my head in and say hello to y'all.
A little about me... I'm 24 years old, a grad student, & a "geeky gamer chick" (as I refer to myself at times, anyway!!) who also loves things like books (I get far too many out at the library and own even more), animals, music/instruments, and - of course - writing.
I've never been published, but that is a hope for sometime in the far distant future. For now, I am working on getting back into writing something every day as well as planning my second NaNoWriMo novel. (The first one, from last year, met word count but I never went back and edited it. After spending so much time on it I kind of never wanted to look at it again... until around now. Hopefully I can work some on it and finish it... finally. Haha.)
As far as what I love to write - it could be anything from short stories prompted by one word or a phrase, or poetry prompted by the same, or even a novel, although I try to save my ideas for those until NaNo comes around. I do that mostly because I don't think I have the momentum at any other time of year to actually finish a novel.
Anyway, so glad to be part of this community!! I am looking forward to getting to know many of you.
