A Question About Meth Use

In my current screenplay I have a character on meth. How long does a meth high last? I haven't a clue. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

Alright. Here's how my character used it. He's a primate. He's part monkey and man. He busted in on a meth lab and drank the concoction and the meth got thrown in its face.


How long would it last in theory? I'm assuming the concoction would kill but this is fiction after all. A week? 8 days? 11?

i'm assuming it's a dose that doesn't kill him, so i would say you're safe in the 12-48 hour range.

If he drank the "concoction" that meth crystallizes out from ... he'd be dead or in agony, not on a high.

That's nasty chemicals, solvents, acid and the like. It takes a haz-mat team to clear out a meth lab after a bust.
