I'm hoping to find an expert, with credentials, who is knowledgeable about human anatomy as such applies to youngsters ages birth to 10 years of age. Manuscript is about 10,000 words. Non-paying, but will discuss the possibility of giving credit .
Are you talking asking about typical congenital anomalies or something else when you say 'idiosyncrasies'
And why up to 10 years?
A bit more info might help you get the right person, but I think you'll have to find your expert at a medical university (though we do have some medical experts here on the forum)
Cheers,
Christina
Suggest that you call the public relations department of a children's hospital near you and tell them very specifically what kind of expert you need. They are often helpful in finding a medical specialist willing to talk to a writer. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has been especially gracious to me, but I have also dealt successful with other children's hospitals and never been turned down. The trick is to know exactly what you need and not waste their time.

I am so embarrassed not have replied before this. I can only ask all of you guys to try and excuse my oversight. I took Tish Davidson's advice and wound up getting the consultation and authentication from an MD, Chair of a major pediatric hospital in New York. I thought I had posted this info a while ago -- obviously I hadn't. Sorry and thanks for your advice and suggestions.
