Greetings, I am a first time author and looking for a decent publisher for a book that will be the only one of its kind. Does anyone know of a good publisher for first time authors?

It might help to know what kind of book you're looking to get published, Dr. T. Different publishers are looking for different books: fiction, non-fiction, romance, fantasy, mystery, young adult and so on and so forth.
