seeking publisher for first time writer

Hello. I am seeking a publisher for my first book. This book will be the first of its kind by a deaf author and I need to place it in good hands. Almost sent my Manuscript in to Publish America but after seeing some things on Google.. i decided to write in and see what y'all think

Hi yes i got that writers market.. but I am publishing a book.. might run 150 pages.. about deaf. Almost went to Publish America..good thing I didnt.
Vantage sent me a packet but I backed out because I didnt like their contract.

I guess one thing I could do is hold that book.. and print something else FIRST, since this one is the work of 10 years of labor. Its just a lot of information.

Welcome!

Publishers are not adverse to publishing a new author whose book is marketable and written well enough. One thing you might want to try is looking at books written about a similar topic and sending your manuscript to those publishers.
